The internationally acclaimed Mark Dion is an American conceptual artist whose practice examines the history of the museum and the presentation of knowledge.In the exhibition Systema Naturae at Saskia Neuman Gallery in Stockholm, the artist continues to examine themes common to his practice.

The job of the artist, he says, is to go against the grain of dominant culture, to challenge perception and convention. In connection with the exhibition, No Ordinary Scent had the honor of crafting a scent, inspired the artist’s work.
